Why East Bengal Seed Company?

The East Bengal Seed Company was established in 2005 with the aim of marketing good seeds. Since its inception, we have been trying to supply improved and quality seeds at the farmer level. In fact, the East Bengal Seed Company is a modern business entity in the agricultural sector. We have been collecting and importing high quality seeds since the beginning of the business in order to provide the best quality service. I have been trying to join other agricultural products for diversification, although it is currently operating as an import-trial and trading dependent entity.

Our objective is to increase production and increase farmers’ income by meeting the demand for quality seeds. At the same time, we are optimistic about the emergence of local leadership in the supply of all agricultural inputs.

One of our goals and objectives is to assist the government in producing more crops by providing good quality seeds at low prices.

We have a group of courageous and hardworking staff whose commitment has made us brave enough to achieve our goals. We try to maintain the highest standard of seed by socially evaluating our surroundings and people’s money.

We have been contributing to make Bangladesh a prosperous country by accelerating rural development by increasing the income of farmers.

So on behalf of the East Bengal Seed Company, I would like to thank everyone for their participation in the ongoing process of this contribution, all government and non-government organizations.

ভালো বীজ বাজারজাতকরণের লক্ষ্যে ২০০৫  সালে ইস্ট বেঙ্গল সীড কোম্পানি প্রতিষ্ঠা করা হয়। প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্ন হতে অদ্যবধি উন্নত ও গুণগত মানসম্পন্ন বীজ কৃষক পর্যায়ে সরবরাহের চেষ্টা করে আসছি। প্রকৃতপক্ষে ইস্ট বেঙ্গল সীড  কোম্পানী কৃষি সেক্টরে একটি আধুনিক ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান। সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট মানের সেবা প্রদানের লক্ষে ব্যবসা শুরু হতে উন্নতমানের বীজ সংগ্রহ ও  আমদানি করে আসতেছি। ডাইভারসিফিকেশনের লক্ষে অন্যান্য কৃষিপণ্যের যোগদানের চেষ্টা করে আসছি, যদিও এটি বর্তমানে আমদানি-ট্রায়াল ও ট্রেডিং নির্ভর প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে চলমান আছে।   কোয়ালিটি বীজের চাহিদা পূরণের মাধ্যমে উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধি ও কৃষকের আয় বাড়ানো আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য। সাথে সাথে যাবতীয় কৃষি উপকরণের সরবরাহে আমরা নেতৃত্বে স্থানীয় প্রতিষ্ঠিত হিসেবে আত্মপ্রকাশে আশাবাদী।    স্বল্প মূল্যে ভাল মানের বীজ সরবরাহের মাধ্যমে অধিক ফসল উৎপাদনে সরকারকে সহযোগিতা করা আমাদের অন্যতম লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য।   উদ্দেশ্য পূরণের লক্ষ্যে আমাদের রয়েছে এক ঝাঁক সাহসী ও কর্মোদ্যমী  স্টাফ যাদের কমিটমেন্ট আমাদেরকে লক্ষ্য পূরণের সাহসী করে তুলেছে। আমাদের পারিপার্শ্বিক অবস্থা ও জনগণের অর্থ সামাজিক মূল্যায়ন করে বীজের সর্বোচ্চ স্ট্যান্ডার বজায় রাখার চেষ্টা করি।   কৃষকের আয় বৃদ্ধির মাধ্যমে গ্রামের উন্নয়ন ত্বরান্বিত করে বাংলাদেশকে সমৃদ্ধ দেশ হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে আমরা অবদান রেখে চলেছি।   সুতরাং এ অবদানের চলমান প্রক্রিয়া সরকারি ও বেসরকারি পর্যায়ের সকল প্রতিষ্ঠানের অংশগ্রহণের জন্য আমি ইস্টবেঙ্গল সীড কোম্পানির পক্ষ থেকে সবার কাছে কৃতজ্ঞ।
